For some time now, I’ve had the impression that more and more beauty salons are opening in Poland. However, many people approach this operation without much preparation. The first question you should ask yourself is: “what treatments do I actually want to / can I perform?”. But from experience, I know it usually sounds like: “what are the most profitable beauty treatments?” – which isn’t the best approach. I’ll explain why just below.

Do what you do best

You probably think I’m some kind of coach preaching clichés right now. But think about it for a moment yourself: a while ago, microdermabrasion (which involves exfoliating the layers of the epidermis using a stream of micro-crystals) became very popular. What’s the point of it generating decent income if you have no experience in performing it? You will simply be eaten alive by much more skilled competition.

Why am I mentioning this now? Because in a moment, I will list the most profitable beauty treatments from the past few years. I don’t want you to treat the list below as the absolute truth that will definitely work in your case too. I have always believed that you will earn the most from the beauty treatments that you are able to perform best. And besides – the work will be more pleasant for you, which is also important.

Beauty treatments where you’ll earn the most (probably)

Alright then – let’s get into the specific list. Keep in mind that this is not a ranking, and the order is random. There are simply too many variables for me to create an objective “top list.” Also importantly – naturally, I wasn’t able to discuss all the noteworthy treatments, but you probably already guessed that.

Permanent eyebrows – a popular choice

Personally, I’m not a fan of women getting permanent eyebrows, but the statistics speak for themselves – it is a truly popular beauty treatment. Consequently – you can earn quite a lot from it. It is a rather expensive procedure, with prices reaching as high as 2,000 PLN.

However, creating permanent eyebrows is not a simple task. To gain some proficiency, you will probably need to sign up for an additional course, which can cost up to 10,000 PLN for a few days of learning (in the individual version). As if that wasn’t enough – there are countless eyebrow shapes, and fashion is constantly changing, so you will need to continuously improve your skills. Either way, this treatment enjoys huge popularity and there is no indication that this will change anytime soon.

Fractional laser – requires investment

A much less recognizable option than permanent eyebrows, but perhaps even more profitable. As far as I know, the price of a single treatment using a fractional laser is… even up to 3,000 PLN! Of course, provided it covers larger areas of the body.

Fractional laser training is also generally short and relatively cheap. If you’re lucky, you can find training for less than 3,500 PLN. Wait a minute… the cost of the training would be recouped after just one performed treatment? Where’s the catch?
Well, the “fractional laser” device itself costs quite a lot. Even in the cheapest version, it is an expense in the range of tens of thousands of PLN. So it’s a pretty risky business, but hey – fortune favors the bold.

Endermologie – a future giant?

Endermologie has been doing well in Poland for several years now. However, I have the impression that lately it has been experiencing its second youth and is gaining strongly in popularity. More and more people in my immediate circle are asking specifically about this treatment. A whole lot of new blogs about it are also popping up (including mine, for example).

If the upward trend continues, endermologie could soon be one of the most profitable beauty treatments. While I’m not a finance expert, it seems to me that clinics offering permanent makeup are the most profitable. There are plenty of them, and the treatment itself is popular among all age groups. I also once saw a list saying that women most often opt for beauty treatments around the eyebrows – maybe that will be a little hint for you.

Either way – don’t take my words as the final judgment. I wrote this article based on my own observations and those of people close to me. Remember that, in my opinion, the most profitable beauty treatments are the ones you know how to do, but above all, enjoy doing.
